About Study Tours

The Department of Retailing and Tourism Management offers many diverse opportunities for students to travel to see behind the scenes within the areas of Hospitality Management and Tourism and Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles. This is a pre-planned 3 credit course where students participate in a week-long domestic or international study tour with scheduled professional visits to expose students to their industry and careers in worldly locations. Along with the travel component, there is also an online or in class component as well.

Our students have travelled to Panama, Paris, New York, Scotland, London, Las Vegas, Florence, and many more! These courses are wonderful networking opportunities.
