Transformative Travels: Greece

Participants in this program learn about how travel affects the traveler. Students explore not only the island of Ikaria and other places in Greece, but also how travel can be transformative.

Travel can change how people view themselves and the world around them. It can lead to changes in people’s beliefs and lifestyle and can be a source of challenge and inspiration. Students participate in collecting data for a research project about how international travel can be transformative.
